Honours Degree Qualified in a relevant subject (such as Geology, Geography, Chemistry, Biology Ecology etc) the successful candidate will have some experience in working in Environmental Consultancy or Regulation. As well as previous experience, the successful candidate will be approachable and pro-active and someone who would adapt to the opportunities and challenges of a varied workload. A broad understanding of many aspects of environmental management, as well as some specific key skills area (such as water resources, air quality, acoustics, ecology, waste etc) would be a benefit. Written communication skills are very important for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing single projects/technical areas of works for projects.
Working within and inputting to multidisciplinary teams and projects to highlight and manage environmental risk and develop higher standards of environmental design.
Communicate with internal teams/ external project teams/Clients.
Liaise with contractors.
Undertake written reporting for EIA and masterplanning reports.
Prepare formal proposals for projects.
Set up and manager jobs/project administration.
