Role description:
To supervise the procurement department and report to the Head of Core Services, the main responsibilities of this role are to include:
• Negotiation of contracts and rates with suppliers
• Negotiation of service level agreements
• Implementation of supplier reviews
• To monitor and review strategic inventory levels
• Implement and monitor processes and procedures
• Liaise with internal customers
• To enable continuous improvement environment by reviewing and evaluating current processes to maximise outcomes
Who we're looking for:
• Ideally have previous industry experience
• Have CIPS membership (not essential)
• Be comfortable working within tight deadlines
• Have experience of logistics, purchasing and expediting
• Have experience in strategic decision making
• Have a proven track record in a procurement role.
• Have the ability to direct and coach others
