Role: Plant Manager

Client
My client are one of the UK's leading Plant Hire companies with over 30years experience in the industry, they are currently looking to recruit a Plant Manager for their base in Inverness. With a continued program of expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career.
Role
The manager is fully responsible for generating business and producing the depot profit. Thus the ideal candidate will have experience of the hire industry and be comfortable in sales calls. You will be responsible for the company assets stocks and security in Inverness. It will be your responsibility to recruit and manage the staff ensuring that the depot is manned during working hours and that an adequate after hours service is offered.
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of profit and loss accounts, understand and be able to read budgets and be able to control costs with spares, vehicles, accessories, consumables and transport. You should also have a basic understanding of Health & Safety and be able to work within company guidelines.
Previous experience within the Plant Hire industry is a must.
