The opportunity has arisen for experienced Site Civil Engineers to join a number of leading Design, Civil Engineering, and Project and Construction Management Consulting Firms across the Middle East.
The Site Civil Engineer Infrastructure will demonstrate experience in the design review and all aspects of supervision and project administration of the electrical works related to large-scale construction contracts of sewerage and drainage projects with particular emphasis on the project subject.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:
Reviewing and approving the concrete mix design.
Reviewing and approving the contractor’s proposed quality plan.
Maintaining continuous inspection of works at site and issuing the necessary remedial notes for any defected works observed.
Approving of method statements for various items prior to their commencement on site.
Monitoring the enforcement of safety issues on site and reporting immediately on any violation.
Reviewing the contractual validity of any claim for variation orders and issuing recommendations to the Resident Engineer.
Preparing monthly reports and participating in site meetings.
Qualification: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
