The opportunity has arisen for experienced Health and Safety Engineers to join a number of leading Design, Civil Engineering, and Project and Construction Management Consulting Firms across the Middle East.
The Health and Safety Engineer will assist in providing a safe work environment for employees.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:
Identifying and reviewing occupational hazards and carrying out risk assessments of the activities within the construction area.
Conducting briefing sessions on Health and Safety to staff, contractors and visitors.
Coordinating activities during any emergency.
Organizing and conducting Safety and Fire training.
Performing daily job site inspections.
Performing accident investigations and taking the correct action.
Coordinating safety activities on site.
Qualification: BSc Degree in Health and Safety and/or a professional Health and Safety certification such as Nebosh.
Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
