Role description
Working closely with the Financial Controller in Aberdeen and the operations, you will support this business from a financial perspective. Providing financial and management information will allow you to support operational decision making.
More specifically you will be responsible for the following:
• Supervision of a small team of accountants and cost controllers.
• Ensuring compliance with the corporate and operational/project specific contractual and legal requirements, including timely preparation of third party invoicing.
•Timely preparation and review of the monthly financial operations report, including prepayments/accruals, actual versus budget cost variance analysis and forecasted operational expenses and revenues.
• Providing the operations with financial information, guidance and financial support on all matters related to the financial management of projects.
• Preparing cash-flow reports based on project schedules and explain deviations.
• Supporting the development and adequate functioning of internal controls.
• Performing (ad-hoc) analysis as requested.
This is a diverse and challenging role, ideal for a qualified Accountant looking for their next move.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Professional Accounting Qualification or Qualified by Experience • Computer Literate, with experience of Excel spreadsheets
