Role Overview:
The key role of this management accountant is to support the finance function in its remit to monitor and control of all income and expenditure. It is implicit that this involves ensuring proper governance is maintained throughout the company. The post holder will assist in the provision of high quality, decision-ready information for use by the finance management, executive team and the board.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly cashflow projections.
• Monitoring of shared service targets and performance.
• Monitoring of Transition Budget.
• Modelling of rolling three-year budget, with scenario planning.
• Liaison with colleagues monitoring NTPs.
• Monitoring of TfW allowances and other Skills Intervention projects as appropriate.
• Variance reporting.
• Assistance with ledger and systems design improvement/implementation.

Experience Required:

• CIMA/ ACCA part qualified (or equivalent), at a minimum of intermediate level.
• Proven experience in preparing high quality financial information, to statutory accounts level.
• Experience in Forecasting.
• Experience dealing with multi million pound budgets.
