A major provider of Social Housing based in the Tayside area urgently requires an Allocations Assistant for an ongoing temporary contract.
The role will be a diverse one and duties will include:
- Checking, coding, assessing/classifying all housing/transfer applications and placing them into appropriate categories.
- The input of all application details to the computerised House Letting System
- Issue information requests to applicants.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries related to housing applications.
- Providing advice as necessary to staff in other units.
- Assist with all admin duties as required
- Assist as necessary in processing Mutual/Tenant Exchange scheme
- Interview applicants regarding their housing application and their housing prospects and dealing with telephone enquiries regarding the same.
- Carry out lettings procedures including making arrangements for viewings and inspections
- Vetting of both Waiting List and Transfer List applicants, interviews, allocations, assist with void management.
