Are you looking to be the integral part of a rapidly expanding organisation? Do you have previous experience as a Drilling Accountant?
Role description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the main responsibilities of this role are:
• To provide Accounting support to drilling teams
• To prepare Well Cost Estimates to support ongoing drilling activity
• Perform detailed final cost forecasting and present to weekly management
• Report drilling status and costs to Finance team on a weekly basis
• Preparation of Accrual schedules
• Ensure cost reports are issued in an accurate and timely manner
• Monitor cost estimates and actual expenditures
• Preparation of Final well cost review and reconciliations
• Review processes and recommendation of solutions
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be driven and self motivated with excellent communication skills and a have a real desire to add value. Ideally coming from an industry background you will be an experienced Drilling Accountant.
A professional qualification or if you are part qualified (i.e..e. CIMA or ACCA) is preferable but not essential.
