At O2, we believe in grasping every opportunity to enrich the customer experience. The arrival of Broadband means were looking forward to enhancing existing services, introducing new products and injecting radical ideas into everything we do. For you, its the chance to join a major organisation. Yet at the same time, youll still enjoy the feeling of being part of something new, challenging and fresh.
This is customer service in a new environment, with innovative products and services. So youve got to be ready to take ownership of customer queries and tackle new issues. As a first point of contact for Broadband customers, you will deal with inbound calls and email queries on issues such as installations, billing, orders and technical problems. By clarifying requests, escalating queries when required and delivering on promises, you will build customer confidence and meet expectations.
You could join us with either a customer care or a communications sector background. You must have a working knowledge of broadband/internet services, with a basic understanding of Windows operating systems, wireless network set-ups and fault diagnosis. Ideally, you will also hold Microsoft qualifications (networking and hardware) or a similarly relevant IT qualification.
You must be fully flexible to work shifts between the opening hours of 8am and 11pm Monday to Friday, and 9am until 10pm Saturday & Sunday.
