Are you a buyer within the oil and gas service industry? Are you looking for a new challenge in a progressive company?
Role description
As a buyer you will be required to work within the procurement dept providing support to client based projects and activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing a procurement plan to ensure the correct processing of purchase requisitions.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions and providing advice in the award process.
• Issuing supplier qualification forms to suppliers proposed for approval.
• Attending tender clarification and pre and post contract award meetings where matters relating to tender content will be discussed with company, sub contractors and suppliers.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will preferably have:
• Knowledge of SAP, Excel and Word.
• Experience of a buying role within the oil and gas sector.
• Experience in buying with a technical background.
