Our Client seeks a Fire Officer to work from their Inverness office covering all their premises within the Highland Region.
Key responsibilities include:
Undertake and review fire risk assessments for all buildings and develop proposals to remedy any deficiencies
Provide advice on fire safety aspects of new buildings and significant alterations to existing buildings - working with Engineering Consultants when new systems are being proposed.
Organise and deliver fire safety training and conduct tests including evacuation drills.
Carry out inspections and audits.
Keep abreast of changes in legislation and implement any changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
You will hold a significant Fire Safety qualification and preferably a Health & Safety qualificationand have a working knowledge of legislation and good practice across a wide range of structures.
