Health and Safety Manager required for Glasgow

Due to continued expansion our client to recruit a Health and Safety Manager for their Glasgow office. Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe working practices across various sites in the central belt and Scotland.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review of present position and report and advice on compliance with legislation in particular risk assessment and accident reporting requirements and, M+E systems,
- Developand MaintainCompany wide Behavioural Safety programme.
- Develop company strategic Health and Safety programmes.
- Constantly develop and improve company Health and safety culture.
- Keep up to date and implement existing and new legislation. The successful candidate will come from a construction, civils or water background and have excellent written
and verbal communication skills andat all levels.
Qualifications:
NEBOSH Diploma/Degree or equivalent and full membership of a relevant body.
