As part of the continued expansion & development of our Edinburgh office of Hays Construction & Property, we are currently recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Working closely with our experienced team of Consultants you will be tasked with developing your own business by expanding your current client & candidate base, both utilising our extensive database of contacts & by forging new relationships with clients you will have helped bring onboard.
Able to draw on the resources of the worlds 6th largest specialist recruitment consultancy you will be inducted into a specially tailored training programme that will include both on the job mentoring & external / in-house professional development courses designed to give you the tools to reach the peak of your profession.

Day to day duties will include:
Selling vacancies to candidates to gain their interest and control
Respond to both online & telephone applications
Writing & posting adverts utilising online solutions to advertise vacancies and candidates
Off-line marketing to compliment & supplement online strategies
Canvassing clients to establish their requirements & sell our services
Attending client meetings to further develop business links
Organisation & management of open days/evenings to generate candidates
Organisation & management for clients recruitment campaigns
A full current driving licence is essential.
