Source's client is looking to recruit a Project Accounting Manager.
Tasks:
The Project Accounting Manager is responsible to the Senior Project Accounting Manager for:
managing the Project Accounting Teams resources assigned to him/her
ensuring that quality of invoices and charge process allow for timely payment from clients
liaison with client to resolve outstanding debt in conjunction with credit control team
review of information compiled for monthly accounts including W.I.P and provision accruals
liaison with Project Control Group to ensure visibility of any changes to contract and that changes to contracts are correctly reflected on invoices & in monthly accounts.
analysis of performance against budgets & forecasts
analysis of returns generated & communication of trends to job control team
participating in the review of existing departmental procedures and delivering, where necessary, new proposals
maximising profits and minimising loss in all projects in their teams control
participate in the development of annual budgets and maintaining three-month rolling budget
undertaking monthly profit and loss reviews
