Senior Building Services Engineer (Mechanical), Up to £44k, annual holiday entitlement will be 29 days, plus 4 statutory days. You will be eligible for immediate entry to the Group Pension Plan, plus Free Life Assurance. You will also be eligible to apply for entry to the private health care plan and the stock purchase plan. A vacancy has arisen for a Building Services Engineer to manage the operation of the site's mechanical infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of services to all site activities. Providing mechanical design and commissioning support to all projects and to meet safety, operability and cost objectives. Assists in the development of the sites mechanical skills base to support existing equipment and to exploit new technology.
The following skills and experience are essential to this position: -
Energy management.
Project management.
Preparation of specifications.
Commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
Safety and Environmental considerations.
Knowledge on the following systems also required:
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning; refrigeration; steam and hot water; pumped water systems and local exhaust ventilation systems.
You will receive day-to-day guidance from the Site Services Manager and necessary training on existing and new systems. You will be expected to deal with problem situations as they occur. You will be expected to communicate with engineers, managers and external vendors to resolve problems and to provide guidance to less experienced maintenance technicians.
