THE COMPANY
An established and highly recognised global employer with office in Edinburgh, corporate blue chip still expanding in the Scottish market.
THE ROLE
The principal responsibility of this position is to develop client reporting tools using VBA Excel. These developments support BAU, new business, and specialised client requirements. VB6 applications are also produced as and when required.
Working through the full lifecycle, you will be involved in all stages of the development process.
Strong communication skills are essential as you will communicate with the Business Analysts and end users, as well as support staff.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Proven track record in VBA Development
Experience of VB6
Strong communication skills.
Self motivation and a willingness to embrace change
Experience in object-oriented design techniques
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Experience in the financial services industry
