Data Warehouse Business Objects ETL Lead Developer
A leading Glasgow Finance House are keen to secure the services of an experienced ETL professional who can show a breadth of ETL and Data Warehousing skills along with an ability to provide technical and project leadership.
For this post candidates will require the following technical skills:
Excellent ETL knowledge
Strong SQL skills
Experience on a UNIX platform (some scripting)
Good RDBMS (Ideally Oracle)
For this post it would be beneficial if candidates had:
Financial Services experience
Business Objects, BODI
Data Warehousing expertise
In addition to the technical skills above it would be highly advantageous to be able to demonstrate some team leading, project leadership or small scale project management skills.
This role centres on a team of data and ETL experts that will be tasked with the design, development and implementation of a range of new and amended Data Warehousing projects. It is imperative that CVs are able to demonstrate the candidates technical expertise and also their ability to add guidance and leadership to similar projects.
