Job Title - Ecommerce Analyst with Database skills
Location - Edinburgh

THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing web site performance, trends and click stream analysis activity to provide strategic business insights
- Analysing user acquisition, multi channel performance and identifying opportunities for increasing customer lifetime value
- Working directly with the Product Manager to define required new product features
- Identifying emerging trends and patterns in customer behaviour and profile
- Collaborating with teams across the company to define reports, metrics and data needs.
- Identify gaps in the data capture strategy and implement enhancements
- Create, update, distribute and present web analytic reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
- Interpreting reports, discovering areas of concern.
- Integrating web analytics with other marketing data
Essential Skills
- Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills
- Enquiring mind with huge amounts of initiative and a fascination for discovering insights into customer interests and behaviour
- Experience in SQL Server, Reporting Services and web analytics methodologies such as experimentation, testing and competitive analysis. Experience or aptitude for data warehouse and OLAP technologies
- Thorough understanding and experience with web analytics, web metrics, data tagging and site measurement tools.
