Drawing Office Project Draughtsman
To provide draughting services for the company as directed by the Drawing Office Manager
Ensure compliance with Drawing Office drawing control procedures.
Liaise with Project Teams and Engineers
Check all drawings produced to ensure accuracy and suitability for purpose.
Be available to check drawings, produced by other members of the Project team or contractors, for accuracy and suitability for purpose.
Identify any key draughting issues or problems within the project and inform the Project Manager and Drawing Office Manager/Technical Manager.
Assist Engineers by providing any relevant experience or information you may have access to.
Perform other related duties and assignments as requested by the Project Manager.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
Engineering background
Preferred:
ONC/HNC in engineering subject (desirable but not mandatory, dependent on experience and background)
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
Experienced (4 years +) subsea Draughtsman
Two years project/procedural draughting
CAD courses to intermediate level
Recognised apprenticeship (or similar experience)
Preferred:
Two years discipline experience
Microsoft Windows training
TECHNICAL/GENERAL COMPETENCIES
Essential:
CAD skills
Autocad Draughting
Preferred:
Inventor Modelling
Microsoft Office
Spreadsheets
Presentation skills
Databases
PERSONAL QUALITIES
