Full Description:
Senior Project Manager required to join one of the most successful national contractors operating in the UK at this time, and be part of their thriving Edinburgh team. With several high value commercial new build and refurbishment projects to boast of across Scotland, my client are continuing to tender for and win new work at an impressive rate.
They are part of the biggest construction company in the UK with an annual turnover of around £10billion in Scotland, alone. With over 2500 employees UK wide, they have an outstanding list of past, current and future projects to boast of. The division operates throughout the country covering a wide range of projects and serving both commercial and public sector clients.
As Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Construction Director and have overall control of your own projects from inception through to completion.
The role will enable you to get involved in pre and post contract work - liaising with clients and sub-contractors alike, ensuring projects are delivered within time and budget.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an immensely successful contractor and have autonomy over your own teams and projects.
You will ideally have a good working knowledge of the Construction industry and have a proven track record in the successful delivery of commercial projects in excess of £30million in value. Ideally you will currently be working for a Main Contractor at a senior level. This position would ideally suit an existing Senior Project Manager or Project Director who are looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious and exciting projects in Scotland, at this time.
You will predominantly be based in Edinburgh however you may be required to travel from time to time so flexibility in this area is a must.
In return, you will be given a highly competitive basic salary, a car or car allowance, private healthcare for you and your family, a project specific bonus, contributory pension scheme and working hours of 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2:30pm on a Friday.
