My client are a service provider with wide experience of working in the utilities, communications, renewables and rail markets. They are looking to recruit a Project Manager to be responsible for Wind Farm projects in Scotland, current locations are Edinburgh and the Borders, valued at approximately £7million each.
My client are a well respected, market leading contractor in England and Northern Ireland with a turnover of around £180million. Alongside the Wind Farm projects, they are currently tendering for several other prestigious renewables projects in Scotland which is all part of their major plans to expand their new Scottish Division.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager who will be based in England so will expect you to have the expertise and ability to successfully run projects in Scotlandas well asthe drive to increase your profitand projects completed year on year.
You will be responsible for a team of highly skilled staff comprising of Site Managers and Site Engineers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work on some of the most unique and exciting civils projects in Scotland at this time as well as become part of a hugely successful company that have year on year growth and an excellent reputation within the construction industry.
Ideally you will come from a civil engineering background and currently be working at a Project Management level for a civils contractor.
You do not have to have experience of working on Wind Farms but you should have a proven track record of successfully running multi million pound heavy civils projects.
This position offers a highly attractive salary package, with a high basic salary,Company Car or Car Allowance (between £5k and £6k), pension after 6 months service, private healthcare after 2 years service and 21 days annual leave plus stats.
