Role - Accountant
Location - Aberdeen
Source's client is a global oil service company seeking a part qualified accountant to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare month-end journal entries and process standard forms
Handle special projects as assigned.
Ability to run reports in SAP and be proficient in the use of Excel worksheets to produce ad hoc reports as needed.
Updates and maintains the Fixed Assets register.
Communicates with operation personnel in regards to asset policies and procedures.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Good attention to detail with good analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good PC skills.
Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Inter-company knowledge a plus.
