Job Description
Our market leading Edinburgh based client is presently looking to recruit an accounts receivable clerk initially on a 3 month contract. Candidates must have previous financial services experience in a similar role to be considered for this position.
Duties of the role will include but are not limited to the following;
Processing sales invoices from throughout the UK and Europe
Allocation of payments to ledgers following procedures and internal processes
Ensuring all client events that impact on billings are correctly actioned and processed
Creation and proofing of invoices to sent to clients
Extraction of data from excel to produce invoice records and statements
Obtaining information from relevant departments to produce client invoices
Assist the billings team with ad hoc reporting and duties as required
Candidates applying for this role must have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a financial services environment in a similar role. Billing experience would also be of benefit to candidates applications due to the nature of the work to be carried out. Candidates must possess first class organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative to solve problems and work well under pressure.
Salary - £9.60p/h Plus Holiday pay
