Job Description

Deputy Manager - Hamilton - £10.30ph - £11phOur client is a leading trust that provides care and support for older people through a national network of residential care homes, sheltered housing and community services. They are currently seeking a deputy manager for their Residential and nursing homes in and around the Hamilton area.The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of the delivery of care to the residents within the home; with particular emphasis on the development, monitoring and audit of professional standards.They require a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join their forward thinking team. Ideally, you will have experience of managing care staff, an ability to form positive relationships with people and a sound understanding of the role that spiritual, emotional and physical health play in the well being of a person. Above all, you will have a passionate desire to enhance the quality of life for older people.The ideal candidate will hold a 1st level nurse, NVQ level 3 in care of older people or RMA. You will have good experience of working with elderly client groups. In return you will receive a generous hourly rate, 30 days holiday and a company pension scheme.
