Job Description
Our client, an agricultural company is currently seeking a Quality Manager to deliver the best in class standards of product quality and to promote and develop a culture of excellence in a fast moving environment.
Main duties will include:
Quality Control
Ensuring compliance with UFAS and ISO Assurance Schemes
Ensuring Quality standards are maintained and regular Quality audits of the production plant are carried out
Develop and implement codes of practice
Audit preparation - liaise with regulatory authorities and Environmental Health Departments
Implementation of HACCP and maintenance of HACCP plan
Supplier audits
The successful candidate will hold a third level qualification or equivalent in Food Science/Technology or related field and be proficient in all Microsoft office Packages, at least 3 years quality management experience in a food or animal feed manufacturing environment, specialist knowledge of quality management systems and their application, safe working practises in a manufacturing environment.
