Job Description

Our client, a leading asset management form is recruiting a Cash Reconciliations Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

The Cash and Reconciliations Group acts as the primary operating interface with the Portfolio Management Group cash desks and with the custodians for cash and asset reconciliations.

Responsibilities include:

  • €¢ Identifying and managing all operational risks

  • €¢ Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

  • €¢ Providing support to consumers of cash data, including cash desks and portfolio managers

  • €¢ Identifying opportunities for process improvement

  • €¢ Reconciling and publishing all cash accounts allocated by the agreed deadline

  • €¢ Investigating reconciliation breaks on a daily basis ensuring all breaks resolved and cleared at the earliest opportunity

  • €¢ Posting (after validation) cash entries for miscellaneous income and expenses identified from bank records

  • €¢ Escalating all material risk items and service issues to the Team Leader on a timely basis

  • €¢ Making sure transactions are settled at custodian and accurately reflected in internal systems

  • €¢ Establishing and developing strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts

Candidates will have experience in cash reconciliations gained within an Investment Management, Custodian, Investment Bank or similar environment.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required along with accomplished investigative and problem solving skills and an eye for detail.
