Business Development Executive Pacific Quay, Glasgow Salary: £21000 – £25000 + Bonus

Having recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary, our client is a rapidly expanding, trusted and highly influential organisation, expert in connecting business and government.

As one of Europe\'s leading providers of public sector procurement solutions they are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive.

Business Development Executive - Role

Having moved into their new state-of-the art premises located at the heart of Glasgow\'s Media Centre at Pacific Quay, Glasgow, this is a genuine opportunity to really make a mark for yourself by joining an organisation which has grown to employ in excess of 230 people.

This will be a varied and challenging role that will encompass the core elements of business development and client relationship. You will be responsible for forging strong relationships with the company’s client base through displaying a thorough understanding of their products and services.

Business Development Executive role will include:

• Conducting presentations and product demonstrations with the company’s clients at a local; national and international level.

• A significant amount of travel incorporated into the role and candidates must be able and willing to commit to spending periods of time working away from the office. As such there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to hold a valid driving licence.

Business Development Executive - Candidate We are ideally looking to hear from candidates who have a proven track record in developing new business, ideally from an IT Sales and software solutions/web hosting background. The successful Business Development Executive candidate will have:

• A strong background within a sales environment

• A proven track record of success

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Good understanding of business processes

• Knowledge of the public sector market

• Experience of preparing and managing tender responses would be a distinct advantage

Business Development Executive Salary - Salary: £21000 – £25000 + Bonus + Benefits
