My client is currently looking for a Unit Manager (RMN) for a large sized dual registered nursing home / care home in Glasgow. This home provides nursing & social care for frail elderly and mentally infirm. The home has a \'good\' CQC rating and reputation, as well as being part of a leading healthcare provider so the potential for career development is excellent for the right candidate.As part of a team your role will include:33 hours/weekCare planningAdministration of medicationLiaison with medical professionals, relatives and higher authoritiesMonitoring the well being of the clientsProviding the highest standard of practices within the homeCo-ordinate staffingRespond to incidentsEnsure line managementSupervision and appraisal of all staffLeading audit and drug stock take processes for the unitDelivery of a sensitive efficient careLeading and developing your team, personnel and financial management, Adherence to policy and protocols, and utilising your professional competence to drive standardsThe Candidate:Must be a qualified RMN Must have brain injury or challenging behavior experienceHave a valid NMC Pin Number Complete satisfactory POVA and CRB checksUnderstanding the NMC code of conductMust be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a teamExceptional communication skills as the ability to build strong relationships with both patients and colleagues is essentialAbility to handle difficult situationsHighly professional approach to your workNaturally caring natureAbility to lead and motivate other staff membersAbility to handle difficult situationsExperience in a similar setting is idealSenior nurses will be considered for this role.Salary: £24,500/annum or £14.14/hr If your experience matches please forward your CV immediatelyWhite Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
