Job Description
Job Overview:
Candidate must have knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools, time and motion studies, extensive knowledge of OEE, manufacturing layout design and process flow analysis, wafer cost analysis and cost reduction, expertise in use of statistical tools, thorough understanding fab dynamics, and experience for improving semiconductor tool output performance. Should have experience of presenting his findings and progress to senior management, and working to gain buy-in to improvement programs
Job Description:
- Own and improve factory constraint tool and process output performance resulting in cost improvement or capital equipment purchase avoidance.
- Improve product cost through cost improvement activities.
- Identify opportunities and lead cross functional OEE teams chartered to improve productivity, throughput and cycle time.
- Improve efficiency and establish standard production rates through time and motion studies and analysis of methods and speed of maintenance.
Key Attributes
- Team Leader with strong analytical skills, problem solving, presentation skills and critical thinking abilities
- proven track record of using ingenuity, creativity, and strong internal networking to affect maintenance procedure changes, hardware modifications, process changes and other required operational changes
- experience using a process change management system and abilities to drive issue resolution without supervision
- Strong computer skills with expert level of proficiency with MS Excel, Access, & JMP
- Modeling and simulation experience.
