Job Description

Our client operates approximately 40 dealership sites across the whole of the UK and they currently have an opportunity at their Glasgow dealership for a Service and Bodyshop Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the service and bodyshop department, controlling resources to achieve budget requirements and enhanced customer satisfaction. You will maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour, parts and materials to both franchise and non-franchise customers.

The main duties include the following:

• €¢ To be responsible for the budgetary management of the department by achieving all sales and profitability targets

• €¢ Prospecting by identifying potential retail customers and effectively implementing systems to maintain regular and professional contact

• €¢ Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all departmental administration and operational data complying at all times with standards and dealership reporting policies

• €¢ To strive to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by following all documented operating policies as set by the dealership

• €¢ People management including ensuring the systematic recruitment, induction and performance management of all department employees With a professional, enthusiastic and positive approach, you will be educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and results orientated and possess the drive and determination to succeed in a competitive environment.

With the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with customers and colleagues, you will help to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and you will have the ability to influence others and be committed to achieving targets and objectives.

There is a generous salary package on offer with an excellent basic and ote of 40K – 48K plus a company car.
