Job Description

Job title: Corporate Auditor

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Travel: 70-80% EMEA Region

Salary: €55 – 60K

Start date: ASAP

We are currently working closely with an International Company looking to recruit an Internal Auditor, to work in their main European offices near Frankfurt. The company' s has a strong presence in Germany dating back to the 1990' s, as such they are well established in this location. This job represents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to make the move across to industry within a high profile global company.

The role:

If you are successful in being offered this position you will join one of the company' s larger corporate audit department based in Frankfurt. You will also work closely with team members in other European offices. As such the travel requirement for this role would be between 70-80%, with any remaining time spent in the Frankfurt office. This role reporting to the Audit manager will involve:

 Reviewing a wide variety of organisational and functional activities in accordance with Company' s audit methodology and accepted auditing standards.

 Supporting the audit team to achieve overall Company objectives

 Determining whether entities are performing their planning, accounting, custodial and control activities in accordance with management instructions

 Evaluating the system of internal controls and identifying any control weaknesses

 Reporting observations and making recommendations for improving the risk mitigation process

Requirements:

 Minimum of 3 years internal/external audit experience, ideally with one of the Big 4.

 Experience of working in Business Risk or Advisory departments

 A portfolio of industry clients, ideally with some experience of working with global manufacturing clients

 Fluency in English

 US GAAP and/or IFRS

 CIA/ACCA qualifications would be highly desirable, although the company will fund a CIA qualification upon appointment if necessary.
