Job Description

We are working with a large FMGC company for their recruitment of a Finance Director to be based in Kenya. Our client are a well known brand with an instantly recognisable strapline who are floated on the NYSE.

The Finance Director is responsible for monitoring, reporting and analysing the financial results and projections for the company. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate policies and also responsible for ensuring that all reporting is maintained and reported in accordance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities:

• €¢ Financial planning, forecasting and modelling

• €¢ Accounting and financial reporting

• €¢ Treasury & cash flow management

• €¢ Systems development and internal control monitoring

• €¢ Business Strategy & Development

• €¢ Information Technology Management

• €¢ Reporting to the Managing Director

Requirements:

• €¢ Qualified accountant ACCA/CPA, CIMA, FCA or CFA

• €¢ Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting

• €¢ Minimum of 7 years experience in a senior management role

• €¢ Experienced in strategy formulation and direction of organisation

• €¢ Extensive finance experience within a commercial organisation

• €¢ Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in management accounting and financial control/reporting role

• €¢ Multi-disciplinary team leadership skills

• €¢ FMCG experience would be an advantage

• €¢ An MBA would be an advantage
