Job Description

Bid Manager – Facilities Management Services

Basic circa £40,000+

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager in the North West with a Facilities Management background. This previous background and experience within this industry is paramount to your application, and applicants must be used to regularly dealing with account values in excess of £5 - £10 Million, also up to £20 Million.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Providing professional and technical assistance to the Business Development teams *  Manage PQQ activity and overseeing qualification processes *  Manage tender preparation and response processes *  Pricing and estimating work and/or writing reports, responses and proposals *  Contributing to the design of the commercial bid strategy and solutions *  Developing and maintaining a central library of information and support material *  Making informed and commercially sound decisions, in line with the wider business objectives

The successful Bid Manager will:

• Possess a degree or be of degree calibre in a related discipline *  Have a good understanding of OJEU procurement process and the wider FM service procurement processes and procedures including all differing procurement vehicles that exist within the public and private sectors of FM *  Have demonstrable high level project management skills in managing multiple projects of a diverse nature, *  Have a broad, practical understanding and appreciation of operational activity *  Be fully conversant with all FM service line provisions
