Business Improvement Analyst / Project Manager – Dublin North

Supermarket chain based in Ireland is seeking a Business Improvement Analyst / Project Manager for their offices based in North Dublin.
The object of the role is to provide the statistical, systems and data analysis required to support the assessment, planning and implementation of a varied range of cross-functional projects designed to deliver better, simpler and cost effective distribution operations.

Duties of the role will include:
• Prepare project specific experimental designs. Complete the data collection and assessment required to facilitate the preparation of an initial project brief. Summarise the key business information relevant to the project and support the Project Manager and other Team members in gaining sign off from the Project sponsor.
• Working with the Project Manager to create and understand the relevant process flow maps Define the source, scope and presentation of data to be collected which will allow potential root causes and improvement opportunities to be quantified
• Create benchmark data against which proposed changes can be compared. Analyse collected data along with that available from other business and system sources to identify and validate the critical drivers to improved process performance. Use the appropriate output to support the Project Manager in the development and final approval of the business case.
• Monitor the output of solution trials and or tests. Present validation and recommendation of most appropriate solution in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Support the development of new policies and procedures where appropriate.
• Develop and establish benefits tracking tools and monitor initial project roll out relevant to approved business case benefits.
• Identify areas not achieving projected benefits and provide recommendation for improvement.
• Develop and implement on going KPI tracking tools as required

Qualifications / experience:

• Third level qualification ideally in role related business area
• Conceptual thinker
• Complex data base and systems management
• Solutions generation and implementation
• Planning and organisational skills
• Competent communicator at all levels
Experience of the follow would also be an advantage:
• Statistical sampling and design
• Data management
• Problem solving and process evaluation
• Quantitative risk analysis
