Our client is a multidisciplinary practice seeking a Planning Consultant to join their Edinburgh based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or pre-qualification planner to join an established and growing planning and development team, offering a tailor made opportunity to work towards your RTPI chartership. With offices now throughout England and Scotland this organisation has steadily grown over the years priding themselves on national coverage with local knowledge and expertise. Work is centered around the following areas; Residential, Estate Agency, Land Management, Property Consultancy and Planning and Development.

An opportunity now exists for a newly qualified or pre-qualification Planner to join an established and growing planning and development team within Edinburgh. Ideally you will have the ability to draw upon a thorough knowledge of the planning system and be able to apply it in a commercial context whilst working within the development process. You will have demonstrable industry experience (approximately one year) from either the private sector or local authority background. Dealing with both strategic development projects and development control work.

Public/Private planning experience
Working knowledge of the planning system
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to work in teams
