Full Description:
Our is a multi-service company providing studies, development, engineering and project management services for power, process and infrastructure projects. Their involvement in the power sector is long established; services have been provided in some eighty countries, over five decades.
Their expertise covers the whole range of power sector projects including; thermal, hydro, renewable energy, and transmission and distribution systems.

They are looking for candidates with significant gas/coal fired power station experience.
You will be expected to take an active role in the responsibility for the management, design and supervision of projects in the Power Sector. You will lead both mechanical and multi-disciplinary projects in both the UK market and international arena.
The sector is planning large growth over the next 5 years and as such staff are expected to contribute to the creation, development and management of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are looking to be recognised within their chosen field and to have a real influence on the direction that the business is taking.
Reports to the relevant Project Manager and Head of Power.

Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering degree. Significant senior experience in Project and Design Management of power projects including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, site supervision, testing and acceptance, etc.
Experience in some of the following would be an advantage; turbines, combustion systems, fuel handling and storage, auxiliary plant and/or control systems and instrumentation.
Able to travel internationally

Candidate could expect a salary in excess of £45,000. Benefits such as Pension, Health Insurance, Car Allowance and bonus.
