Senior Safety Consultant - Nuclear Team

The Company
My client is currently one of the UK's biggest providers of systems and engineering technology and consultancy, employing over 300 professionals across seven sites. Within the nuclear sector, we have over 35 years' experience and so have an enormous amount of expertise in safety, planning and development. The Role
You'll play a crucial role in the development of our nuclear Safety Case projects, by providing high quality technical leadership. In addition, we'll expect you to actively build long term client relationships through delivery of successful projects.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who has nuclear industry experience, ideally gained in the civil or naval nuclear sector. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of one or more of the following: British Energy Engineering Change, Magnox Modification, Devonport SLA22 Processes, JSP 518 or the Safety Management processes undertaken by AWE, UKAEA or Sellafield. Specialist knowledge in shielding and/or radiological protection would be of particular benefit.
