THE ROLE
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £16,000 per annum

Reporting to: Company Director

THE COMPANY
An Edinburgh based Construction Company is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to work in their successful City Centre office. The role involves:

Answering telephone queries and taking sales orders
Assisting with preparing budgets and providing cash flow forecasts
Accounts payable
Managing the offices Petty Cash
Computation of wages and salaries
Cash book
Purchase Ledger
Sales Ledger
Weekly bank reconciliations
Provide financial management information
VAT
Liaising directly with clients to resolve any Accounts discrepancies

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you must have extensive Bookkeeping experience with a good understanding of SAGE, Word and Excel. This is a busy role with a demanding work load and offers you the opportunity to progress your career.
