| We have an exciting opportunity for a systems Analyst to join a fast moving dynamic multi-skilled software development area within a multi-national Financial institution working on front end Internet systems. Projects vary in size, complexity and delivery channels. A high percentage of offshore IT development resources are utilised in order to deliver a high volume of projects in a cost-effective manner. There may be occasional opportunities for short-term international assignments. You will be required to undertake and/or supervise analysis activities throughout the life cycle of projects: Initiation Scoping and requirements gathering Propose appropriately estimated, cost-effective solutions Production of initial prototypes External design and production of detailed functional documentation Support programming and testing Implementation You will be responsible for ensuring that solutions meet the business needs and that deliveries are on time, within budget and to high level of quality. Projects often directly affect our clients personal and business customers so there is a strong business need for high quality implementations. Skills required: Qualified to undergraduate or post-graduate level in IT related subject. Proven systems analysis experience on variety of projects. Proven planning/control skills. Self starter/ability to work with minimum supervision. Innovative & able to influence and improve existing processes. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of financial services. Experience of Business Process Modelling. Experience of Service Oriented Architecture. Experience of Offshoring. Available for occasional international short term assignments.
