Full Description:
New Job: Associate Roads and Infrastructure
Job Location: Glasgow
Job Salary: £41k - £46k + car, bonus, healthcare, pension etc

My client is an award winning multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a fantastic reputation. With over 3000 staff located in more than 30 offices providing a comprehensive and co-ordinated range of high quality socio economic, planning, environmental, engineering, surveying and management services to a diverse range of clients in the public and private sectors. There is a position within the Glasgow office for a key individual to help drive the business forward. This office is city centre/west end based and close to all transport amenities. The overall package includes a car an excellent salary and a whole range of other flexible benefits.

The Glasgow office provides multi-disciplinary design services for a diverse range of projects in retail, defence, commercial, healthcare, educational and residential, typified by the following:

Hospitals
PPP Schools
Large Waterfront Redevelopment
Masterplanning
Power Stations
Large Scale Housing Developments
Renewable Energy Systems including 12 Wind Farms
Infrastructure and Major Development

You will have experience of office based management/team leader of design (and also of previous independent design) of roads, roads drainage and junctions including signing, markings and safety barriers. Knowledge and appreciation of highway drainage would be an advantage but not an essential requirement. The right applicant will be involved in project management, provide technical reports, attend site meetings, design checking, business development, dealing with clients etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior/principal engineer seeking an increase in responsibility or an associate keen on a fresh challenge.
