New Job: Civil/Infrastructure Technician
Job Salary: £23k - £30k
Job Location: Glasgow

My client is one of the worlds leading engineering consultancies and have a reputation of being both forward thinking and architecturally led. They aim to produce high quality engineering design in concept, in detail and in execution, on time, to programme and delivering excellent value for money. There Glasgow office is city centre based and close to all major transport links.

There distinctive culture and ethos is still based on the same principles of care, value and elegance that were established when the practice was founded. Due to rapid expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Technician for there busy Glasgow office to join a recently established civils team. Key projects include: prestigious retail, commercial, industrial, stadia and residential.

The key requirements / responsibilities for the role are:

Minimum HNC in Civil Engineering with excellent grounding in use of AutoCAD

Must be proficient in use of Auto-track for Swept Path Analysis

Experience in preparing Road Construction Consent drawings and submissions. This will have involved road junction modifications, roundabouts and car-parking detailing, signalled junction and road layout design etc. Furthermore experience of preparing road longitudinal profiles, sections and setting out details is a necessity.
