THE ROLE Support Assistant
Location: Midlothian
Salary: £6.50 -£7.00 per hour
Reporting to: Care Manager

We are currently looking to recruit 4 part-time Home Carers to provide care services within the area of Midlothian. You will be working with people of various age groups who may have learning disabilities and mental health problems. Dependant on our clients needs you will be required to assist with personal care, meal preparation and trips out. We have 2 posts at 25hrs each and 2 posts at 10hrs per week. Travel expenses will be paid.

THE COMPANY

First People Care Solutions is an independent provider of home care services. We provide practical support services to older people to live within their own homes for as long as possible.

EXPERIENCE

Having an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential, however having
extensive experience working with older people within their own homes would be an advantage for this role. Having your own transport is essential. Immediate start subject to interview and referencing.

Applicants must undergo Enhanced Disclosure Scotland screening and provide at least two care referees.
