Are you a Timber frame technician looking for a new job? My client, based in West Lothian is a timber frame manufacturer currently recruiting for a timber frame technician with a proven track record in the industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of timber frame drawings to enable the factory to produce the kits and for the site to erect them for both one off clients and main contractors. You will be liaising with structural engineers, joist manufacturers, truss engineers and other consultants. Along with liaising with other departments such as production and estimating to ensure design progresses efficiently. Using AutoCAD and similar computer software to produce drawings and schedules for kit manufacture.
The ideal candidate will have experience not only of timber frame but also roofs, panels and floors.
