An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician with demonstrable experience to join an established Architectural private practice on the North outskirts of Edinburghs city centre. They will offer you excellent career prospects, a competitive salary and benefits package.

Our client is a small private practice specialising in bespoke residential projects. The bulk of their work is concentrated on listed, historic buildings, conversions and steadings located throughout Scotland, values ranging between £10k - £5m. This practice is well established within the market and has an excellent private client base.

Current projects include:
* A Lodge house (A listed building) conversion in East Lothian currently at planning stage
* Country houses in Fife
* A number of domestic dwellings in Edinburgh and Fife ranging from £500,000 - £5m

This significant opportunity now exists for an innovative and enthusiastic technician who wishes to develop their career and experience working within a friendly and enabling working environment. You will have the opportunity to work on all stages of a project from inception to completion with support from the Partners and other members of staff within the practice

Suitable applicants will have a strong attitude towards architecture and a natural flair for technical design. Proven experience within the industry, with a sound understanding of UK regulations, working knowledge of planning applications / building warrant drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD is an essential requirement to the role.
