ROLE: Project Manager - Digital Media Technology

Location: Glasgow
Salary: £35 - £40K plus benefits

THE COMPANY

FPSG's client, a market leader in Digital Media Technology are actively seeking a Project Manager to be based from their prime city centre location.

THE ROLE

We require an experienced Project Manager with experience within the IT digital technologies arena we excellent understanding of principles, methodologies and processes of Project Management, you will also be a great communicator who can inspire and promote a shared vision within your team, throughout the business and to clients.

As an effective project leader your understanding of interactive projects and technology, your ablilty to make timely decisions and your problem solving skills will ensure project success within time, cost and quality parameters. A superior understanding of the project life cycle will enable you to produce the necessary documentation including functional and technical specifications and truly shape every stage of a project from initial scoping to testing and final delivery.

You'll also have responsibility for developing junior project managers - setting career objectives and overseeing workload - and for providing senior input across multiple projects. This is an exciting role and an opportunity to manage diverse teams and world class projects.

SKILLS

Leading and motivating team members to meet quality requirements for deliverables
Working with the Operations to direct appropriate resources to assigned projects and ensuring accurate actuals and booked reporting
Project status reporting (internal and external)
Creating and updating the project schedules
Managing and monitoring the project budget
Monitors invoicing of projects to ensure that invoicing is completed correctly and on time
Maintaining a risk and issues log, communicating this and defining risk management strategies
Interfacing with the main client contacts for a project
Managing scope of the project and initiating and negotiating change requests
Ensuring all deliverables meet quality expectations and are delivered in a timely fashion within the project budget.
Ensuring an accurate paper trail of work undertaken
Manages a pitch team, respond to RFPs and presents pro
