Full Description:
Our client, based in Aberdeen, is the world leader in the harsh environment video
industry, dealing with the oil & gas, scientific and defence industries amongst
others. They are currently seeking Engineering Technicians to support their current
design team, and provide technical support on existing products.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1). HNC / HND Electrical / Electronics
2). 2 or more years experience in a similar position.
3). Familiar with ROV equipment integration.
4). Experience of panel / instrumentation wiring
5). Should be computer literate
6). Experience of assembling electronic products using drawing sets and
assembly instructions.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1). Practical electronic and mechanical skills
2). Ability to work with minimal supervision
3). Work to tight specifications & schedules and within the company quality
system
4). Carry out equipment testing, working to test procedures.
5). Able to read and follow circuit and wiring diagrams
6). Occasional offshore trips to assist with equipment commissioning
