| Our Client is one of the UKs most experienced transport consultants with an excellent reputation and presence in England. They have a requirement for a Regional Business Director to establish a Consultancy initially in Edinburgh but with a rapid growth plan for the rest of Scotland. Established now for over twenty years the original founders are still active in the company. Their goal is to solve transportation issues in innovative and cost effective ways. Our Client has wide-ranging experience of carrying out integrated transport studies for public sector clients, covering all stages of the project process - from strategic studies and option development through to the design of specific improvement schemes. Our Client is looking for a an ambitious and enthusiastic Transport Planner to open their Edinburgh office and will provide full support from the remainder of the consultancy in England. You will be an Experienced Transportation Engineer with a Civil background and have excellent business development and client relations skills. Your role will have five key responsibilities: - Effective project management - Client management and sales development - Growth and development of the Edinburgh Team - Delivery You will be given responsibility for the Edinburgh office and the chance to direct the team. With plans for expansion, there is nothing to hold you back increasing the team and developing it further. You will receive a highly competitive salary alongside a car or car allowance, an annual bonus and annual career review.
