Excellent opportunity for candidates that are approved electricians looking to make their first steps into the offshore industry.
The successful candidate would average between 10-15 days offshore per month, with days onshore spent in the office completing paperwork, carrying out maintenance in the workshop and days off.
The main duties of this position are to carry out preventative maintenance offshore and onshore. The suitable applicant would be able to fill some if not all of the following criteria.
Qualifications
Completed city and guilds training
Hazardous area certification
Offshore survival
Good computer skills
Good organisational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Willing to be flexible with work schedule
Experience
Recognised Electrician apprenticeship with industrial experience
Hazardous area equipment familiarity is an advantage
Offshore familiarity
Fire and gas systems experience an advantage
Instrumentation experience an advantage
Faultfinding using electrical circuit drawings
Mechanical aptitude
