| Our client based in Tullos is looking to recruit a Mechanical Technician Purpose: To carry out repairs and re-calibrations of customer and company owned equipment in accordance with procedures and defined requirements in order to ensure customer satisfaction with end product. Key Responsibilities 1. In house repair, maintenance and calibration of mechanical, hydraulic and hydrostatic testing equipment within the company hire fleet. 2. In house and on-site repair of customer owned equipment. 3. Carry out all works in accordance with defined Quality & health and Safety Requirements. 4. Liaise with clients and suppliers as required in order to satisfactorily complete each job. 5. Assist colleagues in maintaining a tidy and safe working environment. 6. Work together with colleagues to maintain an organised and efficient branch. 7. Provide technical support to Team Leader, using initiative and experience to identify solutions to technical issues, which may arise. 8. Such duties as may be deemed necessary for the continued operation of the company. The ideal applicant will be time served on ONC qualified and will have previous experience within a similar role. The must hold a full driving licence and a forklift licence would be preferred but not essential |
